Glossary - Isomers & conversion

Isomers and conversion products

Molecules obtained by chemically transforming a starting cannabinoid. Named here so they can be recognised, they are not part of our selection.

Delta-8-THC is an isomer of THC, present in trace amounts in the plant. The quantities found on the market almost always come from a chemical conversion of CBD. It is a transformed compound, not a cannabinoid the plant produces in quantity: as such, it is not part of the Moonlight selection.

Delta-10-THC is another isomer, rare in its natural state and mainly found in products resulting from chemical transformation. Research still documents it only sparsely. Like delta-8, it falls among the transformed compounds and does not appear in our selection.

THCJD is above all a commercial name, sometimes presented as tetrahydrocannabioctyl. No public standard currently allows its structure or origin to be deduced: it is a label, not yet a documented molecule. We mention it so you can recognise it, without placing it among natural cannabinoids.
